The aromas of the Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay are slightly tropical in nature with a bit of melon. The overall intensity is moderate, but not clearly identifiable. It's difficult to detect any oak in the bouquet. This medium-bodied Chardonnay dry with flavors of creamy or buttery tropical fruit - primarily pineapple and perhaps again a bit of melon. There may also be some citrus around the edges, but that's difficult to say for sure.

Food Pairing

Pairing Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay with Cheeses

  • Aged Gouda: Overall the Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay is more flavorful with aged Gouda, but the Gouda itself doesn't change.
  • Aged Parmesan: The Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay tastes a bit fruitier and lighter in the presence of Parmesan.
  • Aged Romano: The Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay tastes a bit sweeter when paired with Romano.
  • Chevre: As with the Gouda, fresh Chevre makes intensifies the flavors of the Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay.

Pairing Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay with Main Dishes

  • Shrimp Scampi: The shrimp scampi makes the Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay taste a bit more acidic, which in turn goes nicely with the scampi. This isn't an exceptional pairing, but the scampi and the Chardonnay do end up working well together.
  • Creamy Chicken: This is a fair pairing — nothing great, but not bad either. I would expect the Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay to be a fair or neutral pairing with most chicken or turkey dishes, especially creamy ones.

Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay

The Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay is a decent white wine, especially if you pair it with aged cheeses or buttery sauces.
