There are slight floral flavors in San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio that leave a nice tingling in the mouth. This light-bodied rosé is dry with a marked, lively acidity that is refreshing to drink in most circumstances. It's unquestionably drier than San Giuseppe's regular Pinot Grigio.
Color & Clarity
San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio has a clear, strong salmony, coppery color — it's not pink, it's not red, but something in between.
Nose
The aromas of San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio are very, very slight — even more slight than their regular Pinto Grigio, which were difficult enough to detect. What is there to smell is floral and a bit creamy with perhaps some berries and citrus.

Pairing San Giuseppe Pink Pinot Grigio with Cheeses
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese: With sharp cheddar cheese San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio becomes smoother, milder, and a bit sweeter.
- Mild Cheddar Cheese: I found this to be a rather unpleasant pairing.
- Swiss Cheese: San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio causes swiss cheese to become more aromatic and acquire a sharper flavor.
- Aged Gouda: Good pairings cause aged Gouda to become sweeter, nuttier, fruitier, and more complex — and San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio is no exception.
- Aged Parmesan: Pairing San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio with aged Parmesan is just average.
- Fresh Camembert: This is a fair paring, but for some reason San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio seems to emphasize the Camembert's bitter edge.
Pairing San Giuseppe Pink Pinot Grigio with Main Dishes
- Roast Turkey: Paired with roast turkey, San Giuseppe's Pinot Grigio is smoother and fruitier. It's definitely a decent rosé to have with a turkey dinner.
- Shrimp Scampi: San Giuseppe's Pinot Grigio is smoother and more complex when paired with shrimp scampi. This is an even better pairing than shrimp scampi with San Giuseppe's regular Pinot Grigio.
- Sushi: Nothing special happens to San Giuseppe's Pink Pinot Grigio when paired with sushi, but they work well together and are worth pairing.
