Syrah Wines: Reviews, Tasting Notes

Syrah grapes, also widely known as Shiraz when grown in Australia, produce full-bodied, long-lived, and fruity wines. Syrah grapes originated in France's Rhone valley and their use in wines can be traced all the way back to the Romans and Greeks. Syrah is usually bottled alone as a varietal wine, but can be founded blended with other grapes — Cabernet in Australia and Grenache in France, for example. Syrah wine offer some of the strongest, most distinctive flavors of any red wines.
