Bordeaux Wines: Reviews, Tasting Notes

Bordeaux may be the most important wine production region in all of France. Over a quarter of all AOC French wines (wines regulated by place name) are made in Bordeaux and over 80% of all these Bordeaux wines are red wines. Because the weather in Bordeaux can vary so much, the quality of Bordeaux wines can also vary greatly from year to year. One vintage can be outstanding while the following year it's barely mediocre. Because there have been many outstanding years, though, Bordeaux's reputation for producing great French wines is unmatched.
